We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our operations.
Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining vendor relationships. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable-ideally within a property management or real estate environment. This is a 100% on-site role based in our Tigard office.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately process and code vendor invoices for multiple properties using Yardi software
Review invoices for proper authorization and resolve any discrepancies with internal teams or vendors
Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with W-9 and insurance requirements
Reconcile vendor statements and assist in month-end closing
Assist with annual 1099 preparation and year-end financial reporting
Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with property managers and other departments to support overall accounting accuracy
Qualifications:
2-3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in property management
Proficiency with Yardi software (required)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or accounting coursework a plus
